Enhance your email marketing this spring

March 15, 2019

Email marketing works great for connecting with potential clients at this time of year. Here are just a few ideas for real estate professionals to follow through with:

1) Improve your subject lines

Often, people will only open emails they know are marketing efforts if the subject line is engaging, according to Placester. That means you might have to put a little more thought into the wording here, but these days, many companies also find success by incorporating emoji into this part of the email to grab a recipient's attention.

2) Give people a reason to read

Once a contact has opened the email, they also need something to grab their attention and get them to scroll down. That could be a testimonial or stat that creates urgency about contacting a real estate agent this spring, or something to offer an incentive, such as a giveaway.

3) Tips and tricks

Another way to get people to scroll through the email is to provide them with some quick information they can't easily find elsewhere, then provide a link to a more in-depth explanation on your site or social media page, according to Outbound Engine. Similarly, if you include the first paragraph or two of a particularly engaging blog post you wrote, people might be more likely to click through.

4) Experiment

It's also a good idea to make sure you're keeping track of what you put into every marketing email and what gets the most clicks. This kind of trial and error can go a long way to boost the effectiveness of your marketing.
